Enjoy your holidays with car rental services in Louisville

Louisville is southeasterly situated along the border between Kentucky and Indiana, the Ohio River, in north-central Kentucky at the Falls of the Ohio. It is also called Kentuckiana because it includes counties in Southern Indiana. It is influenced by both Southern and Midwestern culture. The city's architecture contains a blend of old and new. The Old Louisville neighborhood is the largest historic preservation district solely featuring Victorian homes and buildings in the United States. To enjoy this city with its humid subtropical climate, rent a car from car rental here and take a trip to the Bernheim forest. It is an hour’s drive from Louisville and a delightful drive I must say! It is located about 25 miles south of downtown Louisville, just off I-65 at mile marker 112.  At the exit, you can turn left onto St. Rt. 245 and proceed to our entrance which is on your right about 1 mile down the road.

Founded by a German immigrant and successful brewer it’s the largest privately owned natural area in the state. The area is divided into two parts- the arboretum and the natural area. The arboretum features formal and informal plant collections and various modern facilities, including handicapped accessible restrooms. The arboretum's holly collection is among the best in North America. It is officially named the Buddy Hubbuch Holly Collection. It contains more than 700 specimens representing more than 350 individual species and cultivars from all across the northern hemisphere. The natural area contains most of Bernheim's hiking trails, and is primarily a beech-maple forest with access via paved roads. Bernheim is open daily from 7 a.m. until sunset, perfect for a weekend drive.
So if you happen to visit Louisville then a drive to Bernheim forest from Louisville is a perfect weekend trip activity and you can utilise the car rental Louisville to its fullest by renting a car for this journey.
