California Car Rentals

California is a state located on the West Coast of the United States. There are a number of California car rentals in this state, with 58 counties and 482 incorporated cities and towns; of which 460 are cities and 22 are towns. Usually tourists flock to Los Angeles in California, and Hollywood is definitely on of the first things that crop up in one’s head when you say California, but to be a true traveller you have to explore and experience the various sides of California. And what better way to do that than to hire a car from a California car rental. You could drive to Santa Barbara, a city on the south facing coast of California.

There's probably no better climate in the world than that of Santa Barbara, Calif. The city itself, as well as nearby Montecito, is worth a look and a little time. And if you`re going to the beach, it's still a good idea to bring an old bathing suit and a little margarine. It is far enough south to be considered a part of Southern California. However, its not quite far enough south to be lost in the congestion of urban sprawl that is so often associated with this part of the state. Ninety miles northwest of Los Angeles, resting between the Santa Ynez Mountains to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south, Santa Barbara is where the L.A. sprawl stops. Santa Barbara is a hub for the outdoor enthusiast. Within twenty minutes of downtown you can be high on a ridge. Everyone who visits Santa Barbara is drawn to the harbor front. The harbor front is a mixture of palm-lined walkways, wide open sandy beaches, opulent beachfront resorts, glimpses of the Channel Islands, and magnificent views of the Santa Ynez Mountains. Sights such as these truly define Santa Barbara California as the quintessential Southern California coastal resort town.
